This is a support group, covering Southend, Basildon, Grays and surrounding areas. We meet on the third week of every month on a Tuesday at 6,00pm---8pm, refreshments provided at the moment Brentwood is the venue but this can be changed to meet any problems for persons finding it difficult to travel, depending on numbers.
A good opportunity to meet up and support each other. Telephone Helen on 07790925225 for details.

New Beeches

Hi Guys Body Positive North West are now running a new support group "New Beeches"
A meeting every Monday evening for people affected by blood-borne viruses. The group will offer a safe space for peer support and discussion as well as therapies such as full body acupuncture. Although some people are co-infected the group seems to be attracting more people with just hepc.
This is a new group and there is definitely room for growth and development.
For further details phone 0161-882-2200 or e-mail info@bpnw.org.uk. Venue is Whalley Range nr. the BUPA hospital.
Cheers

The C Change Hep C Support Group Bath

My name is Joe Rowan. I've joined the group to find out more about support around Hep C. I work as a nurse in Blood-borne viruses in Bath and help with running a small support group for people affected by Hep C. Be great to pick up tips for how people are coping - especially around issues such as isolation - brilliant forum for this; also for putting clients who I see in my work in touch with Nomads.

Likewise, if there's anyone from the Bath area out there who would like to know what's available from local agencies for Hep C, or would like to have a chat or find out more about the local support group then please get in touch.

The C Change Hep C support group meets on the first Tuesday of each month - start is at 7.30 and it is held at Space 2, 55 New King Street. It's a pretty informal group and very welcoming to new members. Ear acupuncture available at meetings. If anyone would like more details, please get in touch through the site, or call on 07875 366 004.

All the best

Redbridge Hep C Support Group

Redbridge HepC Support group. covering Romford, Ilford and East London surrounding areas, it meets on 3rd Wednesday each month at Newbury Park Ilford 6pm---8.pm refreshments provided, again good opportunity to support each other. Telephone Sue Barthee 0208 4911576 for details.

Norwich Support Group

Here's a little bit about the Norwich support group.

We meet on the 1st Saturday in each month from 12-2 pm at St Mary Magdalene Church, Silver Road, Norwich. There is plenty of parking either in front of the Church or on the road.

The meetings are very informal and friendly, not everybody arrives at 12 and not everyone comes to every meeting. There is no structure to the meetings somebody will start and everybody joins in, very often there are lots of separate little meetings going on.

The organiser is Tony Moore he can be reached at hepcnorf@yahoo.co.uk. The link to the web page is http://www.norwich-hepc.org.uk/

This has directions to the Church, the date of the next meeting and a page of useful links including Hep c Nomads.

There's no charge but there is tea, coffee and sometimes biscuits

So anyone in the area give us a look, what have you got to lose.
